Flat roofs. Fixed for good.
Roof waterproofing Sydney
Leaking roof? We find the fault, fix the cause and membrane the roof so it never does it again. A roof we walked off five years ago should still hold. That's the standard.
Leaking roof repairs Sydney trusts to hold
Most leaking flat roofs in Sydney fail the same way: a membrane past its life, a seam that was lapped instead of welded, or detailing around a drain, box gutter or penetration that was rushed on install day. Patching over the top buys months. Fixing the cause buys decades.
We start with an honest inspection. If a repair will genuinely hold, we'll repair it and tell you how long to expect from it. If the membrane is done, we'll say that too, with photos of why, and quote a replacement with a warranty measured in decades rather than winters.
Roof waterproofing that outlasts the mortgage
Our standard system for flat and low-pitch roofs is two-layer torch-on: a bitumen base sheet fused to the prepared substrate, then a mineral-finished cap sheet welded over it. The result is a seamless membrane thick enough to measure with calipers, tough enough to walk on, and rated for 20+ years of Sydney weather, from summer UV that cooks western suburbs rooftops to the east-coast lows that dump sideways rain on the coast.
What we waterproof
- Concrete flat roofs and roof slabs
- Metal deck and plywood low-pitch roofs
- Box gutters, parapets and capping details
- Roof terraces and trafficable rooftops
- Plant deck areas and skylight surrounds
- Membrane replacement over failed torch-on, liquid or sheet systems
Box gutter waterproofing
A box gutter is a river running through the middle of your roof, and it's the single most common source of ceiling damage we're called to. Sealant-and-hope repairs die here fastest. We line box gutters with torch-welded bitumen membrane carried up both sides and through the sump and outlet, with overflow provisions so a blocked downpipe becomes a puddle, not a flood inside.
Rooftop terraces and trafficable roofs
Rooftop waterproofing that people walk on, entertain on and put furniture on needs a system built for traffic. Mineral-finished torch-on cap sheets take feet, ladders and trades, and where tiles or pavers go on top we flood test the membrane before anything covers it. Leaking rooftop terraces above bedrooms are our bread and butter; see also balcony and podium waterproofing.
The difference is who's on the torch
Every roof is done by the owners. No labour hire, no day-rate juniors, no one learning on your building. Zach and Chris have forty years of combined membrane work across England, Malta and Sydney, and the roof isn't finished until the seams run dead straight and the drains look like they were always there.

- Honest leak diagnosis with photo evidence
- Repairs when they'll hold, replacement when they won't
- Two-layer torch-on systems for flat and low-pitch roofs
- Box gutters, parapets and penetrations hand-detailed
- Manufacturer-backed warranties of 20+ years
No fluff. No buzzwords.
Straight answers
Why does my flat roof keep leaking after repairs?
Because patch repairs treat the symptom. Water tracks along a roof before it shows inside, so the drip in your ceiling is often metres from the actual fault. We trace the entry point, then fix the cause: usually failed seams, dead membrane or poor detailing around drains and upstands.
Should I repair my roof membrane or replace it?
If the membrane has life left and the failure is local, a proper welded repair holds for years and that's what we'll recommend. If the membrane is brittle, blistered or past its service life, repairs become a subscription. We'll show you photos of what we find and give you a straight answer either way.
How quickly can you fix a leaking roof in Sydney?
Call 0427 207 670. If water is coming in, we prioritise making the roof safe and dry first, then quote the permanent fix. One advantage of torch-on membrane: the moment it cools, it's waterproof. No cure time, no waiting on weather.
Do you waterproof metal and plywood roofs or just concrete?
All three. Torch-on systems bond to concrete, screed, plywood and metal deck with the right preparation and primer. The substrate changes the prep, not the standard.
