Waterproofing South Coast
Holiday homes stand empty through the worst weather of the year. A slow leak gets six months alone with your building before anyone opens the door. Coastal waterproofing has to work unsupervised.
Waterproofing in South Coast
From Kiama and Gerringong through Berry, Nowra, Jervis Bay, Ulladulla and down to Batemans Bay, the South Coast's building stock is dominated by holiday homes and coastal strata, buildings that face the ocean and spend much of the year unoccupied. Nobody sees the ceiling stain in July. By summer, the joists are wet and the repair has tripled.
That's why South Coast waterproofing gets specced for autonomy. Two-layer torch-on membranes that don't need inspection to keep working. Overflow provisions on every deck and box gutter so a blocked outlet doesn't become a flood. Marine-grade terminations that hold through a winter of southerly busters with no one home to notice the weather. It's the difference between a beach house that ages and one that rots.
We travel south for quality residential work, strata programmes and commercial roofs, batching trips and quoting fixed. If you hold a defect report or your holiday home greeted you with a stain last summer, send photos and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth our trip and your money.
Whatever the building, the process is the same: an inspection with photos, a fixed itemised quote, two-layer torch-on installed to manufacturer spec, flood testing where it counts, and a warranty in writing. Not sure what you're looking at? Our guides on waterproofing costs and choosing a contractor are a good place to start.

Asked locally
Can you inspect our holiday home while we're not there?
Yes. With access arranged, we inspect, document everything in photos and video, and send a report with a fixed quote before any work is agreed. Most South Coast clients never need to be on site until the job's done, and some not even then.
Can't afford for it to leak twice?
Call the blokes whose names are on the patch. Straight answers, a fixed quote and a warranty that means something.
