Does Western Sydney heat really affect waterproofing?
Measurably. Roof surfaces in the west can hit 80 degrees in summer, and daily expansion cycles fatigue thin membranes until seams and details crack. Torch-on systems are built for thermal movement, which is why the harshest climates in Europe have used them for fifty years.
