Waterproofing Parramatta

Sydney's second CBD is a forest of new towers with podiums, plant decks and planters, and a first generation of buildings whose original waterproofing is now coming due.

Waterproofing in Parramatta

Parramatta has built more mixed-use towers in fifteen years than most Australian cities own in total. Every one of them lives on waterproofing: podium decks over retail and lobbies, rooftop plant areas, communal terraces, planter boxes softening the architecture. That first construction generation is now aging into its first remediation cycle, and defect reports across the precinct are naming membranes.

We work with Parramatta's strata managers, building managers and remedial consultants on exactly that: diagnosing failed podium and planter systems, quoting to defect reports line by line, and re-membraning with two-layer torch-on installed to full manufacturer spec, the standard the original build often skipped.

Around the towers, we cover Westmead, Harris Park, North Parramatta, Rydalmere and the wider corridor for commercial roofs, new construction packages and residential balcony work, with the same two blokes on every torch.

Whatever the building, the process is the same: an inspection with photos, a fixed itemised quote, two-layer torch-on installed to manufacturer spec, flood testing where it counts, and a warranty in writing. Not sure what you're looking at? Our guides on waterproofing costs and choosing a contractor are a good place to start.

Our building's defect report lists waterproofing failures. What now?

Send it through. We quote defect reports line by line, flag anything we'd push back on technically, and document the remediation so your consultant can close it out in one visit. It's a large share of our Parramatta work.

Can't afford for it to leak twice?

Call the blokes whose names are on the patch. Straight answers, a fixed quote and a warranty that means something.
